J.D. Graham Attorney
J.D. Graham is a founding member of the firm. Mr. Graham earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington University in St. Louis in 1989 and his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Tulsa in 1992. He established his own private practice right after graduating from law school. His area of concentration is bankruptcy. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, St. Clair County Bar Association, National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and a director of the United States Trotting Association. He is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Illinois. J.D. is a member of Winstanley Baptist Church.
Michael J. Benson Attorney
Michael Benson is an Attorney having received his Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from Saint Louis University School of Law in 2004, and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) having received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 1997. Mr. Benson is one of a few attorneys who have passed the Bar exam, CPA exam, and the Series 7 exam to become a licensed stockbroker. Prior to law school, he worked at the international securities firms of EdwardJones and A.G. Edwards responsible for external financial reporting to the SEC, stock and commodity exchanges and shareholders, and has prepared tax returns at a St. Louis CPA firm. Upon graduation from law school, he started his own law practice focusing on estate planning and divorce law, and has administered dozens of mediations. In 2007, Mr. Benson began assisting Mr. Graham in bankruptcy related matters and later merged to form Graham|Benson, P.C. Mr. Benson sincerely enjoys helping to improve the lives of those in his community and has found that his legal and financial skills can greatly assist those seeking bankruptcy protection. Mr. Benson is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA).
